You need these ingredients
- 100 ml spray bottle (glass spray bottles, for example, available from Aromawelt.de)
- 70 ml water (preferably distilled)
- 30 ml alcohol (40% ABV or higher) (e.g., vodka)
- 5 g baking soda
- 5–10 drops of essential oils of your choice
How can I make my own room spray?
Mix the water with the baking soda until dissolved. Then add the alcohol and stir well. Now add drops of the essential oil of your choice. Pour everything into an empty spray bottle using a funnel. Done. Shake the air freshener well before each use.
Why a air freshener with baking soda?
Baking soda can neutralize unpleasant odors and has a disinfectant effect. Therefore, it's an excellent addition to air fresheners.
Tip: Using air fresheners does not replace regular airing of rooms.
