Sea buckthorn is a true artist of life. It grows on barren soils and requires very little to survive – except sunlight. The bright orange-red berries store the sun's power and provide an extraordinarily high content of vitamin C – more than oranges and lemons.

The rich oil from the berries' pulp nourishes and protects the skin and strengthens its barrier function. Carotenoids act as radical scavengers to protect against UV-induced cell damage. Palmitoleic acid, linoleic and linolenic acid, and vitamin E soothe irritated skin.

The optimal application of sea buckthorn oil

Apply sea buckthorn oil pure or diluted to the skin and massage in gently.

Note: Pure sea buckthorn oil has a particularly intense color due to its high beta-carotene content and stains heavily. Please be careful with clothing and other textiles. We recommend diluting sea buckthorn oil 1:10 with a carrier oil (e.g., coconut oil or almond oil) for application to the skin.
