Epsom Salz ist Magnesium-Sulfat, eine Verbindung aus Magnesium und Schwefel, auch bekannt als Bittersalz.

Wie hoch ist der Magnesium-Gehalt?

100 Gramm Epsom-Salz enthalten ungefähr 10 Gramm reines Magnesium. Pro Bad wendet man ca. 300 g Relaxbad an. Da heißt, man badet in der 75-fachen der empfohlenen Tagesdosis bei oraler Einnahme (400 mg).
