The neem tree is one of the most important plants in Indian Ayurveda. For skin care for dry, sensitive, and irritated skin, it is diluted in a base oil and applied to the affected areas.

It is particularly popular as a natural remedy for protecting plants in the home and garden. A small amount of neem oil in water is sufficient to strengthen the plants. Mix about 5 ml of neem oil with one liter of water and add a drop of dish soap as an emulsifier. Apply this mixture as needed, one to two times daily, up to once every one to two weeks.

Ingredients

Melia Azadirachta Seed (Neem) Oil

The stately neem tree, also called the neem tree, belongs to the mahogany family. It is extremely robust, drought-resistant, and can live for over 200 years. In its native India and Pakistan, it reaches a height of more than 40 meters. On the Indian subcontinent, the tree is revered as a source of well-being and health for humans, animals, and plants. It was only in the 20th century that the neem tree spread from South Asia to Africa, the southern United States, and Central and South America.

Neem oil is extracted by cold pressing dried and ground seeds.

Neem oil is very popular as a natural plant protection product and is used against pests such as Colorado potato beetles, aphids, mealybugs, flies, and box tree moths.

For skin care:

Apply a small amount of diluted neem oil to cleansed skin and massage it in gently. Especially suitable for dry skin, blemishes, and irritations.

For plants:

Mix 5 ml of neem oil with 1 liter of water and add a drop of dish soap to emulsify the mixture. Spray the solution evenly onto the leaves of your plants. Repeat every 7-14 days or more frequently if needed.

Note:

Warm the neem oil slightly before use, as it is viscous at room temperature.
