Turmeric
Turmeric – the "Gold of Asia," also known as turmeric – has been used in traditional Asian medicine for thousands of years. The special feature of this plant is its orange-colored root. The rhizome of the turmeric plant is rich in curcuminoids. The best-known ingredient in this group is curcumin. Turmeric is therefore much more than just a spice.
Uses of Turmeric
Turmeric (turmeric root) has been used in Asia for thousands of years as a spice with health-promoting effects. Recent studies provide evidence of its diverse applications. Combining it with black pepper improves the absorption of curcumin.
Recommended Use
Take only one capsule daily, whole, with sufficient liquid. It is recommended to take it with meals, as lipids improve the absorption of curcumin.
Warning
Not suitable for children and adolescents. Pregnant and breastfeeding women, individuals with liver and bile duct disorders, and individuals taking anticoagulant medication should consult their doctor before use.
