Quercetin is a secondary plant substance that belongs to the flavonoids (plant pigments). These are a subgroup of polyphenols (secondary plant substances). Quercetin is found in the skin of onions, apples, quinces, green vegetables, berries, grapes and herbs. The human body cannot produce bioflavonoids such as quercetin itself and can only absorb them through food.

What is Quercetin?
Quercetin is a natural, yellow plant pigment (flavonoid) that belongs to the group of secondary plant substances called polyphenols. Quercetin is found in broccoli, apples, capers, radicchio, dill, onions and blackcurrants, among other things, but can be damaged by peeling or heating. Larger amounts of this valuable plant substance can be found in the flower buds of the Japanese string tree and the native sea buckthorn. Studies suggest that the mode of action is similar to that of OPC (oligomeric proanthocyanidins) from grape seeds.Consumption recommendation Take only one capsule daily without chewing with sufficient liquid. Note: Quercetin inhibits the action of the drug bortezomib in vitro through a direct chemical reaction between quercetin and the boron group. Mandatory text The stated recommended daily consumption amount must not be exceeded. Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store tightly closed, dry, cool and out of the reach of children.
