The white-flowering jasmine with its star-shaped flowers originally comes from China and India and is now cultivated in various warm regions. The shrub can grow to a height of approximately 5 to 10 meters. The essential oil is extracted from the flowers of jasmine. The extraction of jasmine essential oil is very complex. The flowers of the jasmine plant contain the highest levels of essential oil in the early morning hours and therefore must be picked before sunrise. The romantic scent of jasmine is one of the most popular and expensive in perfumery. Approximately 1000 kg of jasmine flowers are required for one liter of pure jasmine essential oil. Jasmine can be mixed particularly well with rose geranium, lavender, bergamot or lemon. Our tip: To care for skin & Add a few drops to your shampoo, body lotion or other care products. It is also wonderful to use it as a body oil, for example with a few drops of jasmine oil in almond oil, coconut oil or wild rose oil. The floral, soft scent brightens the mood and relieves blockages. The massage supports blood circulation in the skin, improves the supply of skin cells and thus reduces wrinkles. When used on the hair and scalp, the hair structure can be replenished and improved. The hair is strengthened, smoothed and given a silky shine.
Personal care: As a massage oil to stimulate blood circulation: Mix max. 20 drops with 50 ml of carrier oil. As a bath additive: Add 10 drops mixed with two teaspoons of honey to the bath water. Used regularly, the complexion can be improved. Never use essential oils undiluted on the skin. Mix with a carrier oil (e.g. coconut, almond, jojoba oil) to avoid skin irritation. Out of caution, you should avoid use on babies, small children, pregnant women and nursing mothers. Perfume: Also popular as a natural perfume. Note: Not suitable for ultrasonic diffusers.
