The ancient Sumerians believed that cedar oil contained everything a person needed to protect their body, mind and soul. This essential oil is said to ensure happiness and well-being in all areas. In folk medicine, cedar oil has been used for hundreds of years for cold symptoms such as coughs and colds, for hay fever, for special skin care for wounds, congestion conditions such as lymphedema and cellulite and itching, to increase personal performance and for emotional well-being. It is said to be anti-inflammatory, expectorant, decongestant, promote blood circulation, promote wound healing and repel insects. The cedar has a stabilizing effect on the psyche. Cedar oil helps you find your inner center. It promotes self-confidence and physical and mental tension simply falls away.
