How is rose hydrosol obtained?
When essential oils are extracted through steam distillation, so-called hydrolates are created. In addition to the various water-soluble substances in plants, these plant waters also contain small amounts of essential oils. Organic rose hydrosol is very mild and therefore also suitable for the care of sensitive skin and mucous membranes. It can be used as a body spray, rub and washing or bath additive.
Hydrosols are used in a variety of ways in aromatherapy, cosmetics and natural medicine. Here are some application examples:
Skin care: Hydrosols can be used as a refreshing facial toner. They moisturize, soothe the skin and can help with skin problems such as acne or skin irritation.
Hair Care: Use rose hydrosol as a hair spray or conditioner to invigorate, nourish and improve hair shine.
Body care: Use rose hydrosol as a bath additive or as a body spray to refresh the body, moisturize or give a pleasant rose scent.
Aromatherapy: With their delicate scent, hydrolates can be used to relax and naturally scent rooms
Compresses: Hydrosols can be used as a base for moist compresses for skin irritations, burns or insect bites.
