Practical Tip

Preventive skin protection against UV radiation and free radicals is the best way to prevent premature skin aging. On sunny days, we recommend applying a sunscreen that's well-matched to your skin type. The sunscreen should contain neither too much nor too little UV protection factor, as the skin also produces the important vitamin D through sunlight. Too high a UV filter inhibits vitamin D production. There is no clinical evidence that retinol increases the skin's UV barrier.
