Essential oils can be easily diffused using a ceramic scented stone. A scented stone is the optimal solution when electricity, water and heat cannot be used. The unglazed, slightly porous surface absorbs the essential oil and releases the scent over a longer period of time. The underside is glazed so that the oil cannot seep onto the base. The glazed feet protect against scratches. The “Leaf” scented stone from Casida is lovingly handcrafted in the workshop of Lebenshilfe Reichenbach e.V. – each scented stone is truly unique.

Application of the scent stone

The handmade fragrance stone made of ceramic is an eye-catcher in every room. Simply apply a few drops of essential oil and enjoy the pleasant scent. Before applying another oil, the scent can be neutralized by placing the scented stone in citric acid water for 10 minutes and rinsing with warm water. Cleaning: Mix 1 tablespoon of citric acid with 200 ml of hot water. After the scented stone has been in lemon water for 10 minutes, it can then be rinsed thoroughly under running water. This removes most stains and opens the pores of the stone so that the next scent that is applied can be easily released into the room air. For more stubborn stains or if not all discoloration has disappeared: apply an additional 1 teaspoon of baking soda and allow it to take effect.
