What makes carrot oil so valuable?
Carrot oil is a particularly gentle yet highly effective skincare oil rich in skin-rejuvenating vitamins. It supplies the skin with important nutrients and protects cells from harmful UV radiation—ideal for sensitive and delicate facial skin.
A particular advantage of carrot oil is its high content of provitamin A (beta-carotene), which actively supports cell renewal. This leaves the skin looking fresher and more youthful. Unsaturated fatty acids in the oil provide additional intensive moisture – for a healthy complexion.
Carrot oil is suitable for both dry and oily, blemished skin. While it softens dry, chapped skin, it helps regulate excess sebum in oily skin. It has a slightly drying effect on oily skin, soothes blemishes, and visibly refines the complexion.
Carrot oil also offers natural, light UV protection. It can therefore support the skin during sun exposure – but is by no means a substitute for sunscreen.
Application tip: First, apply a sunscreen with a high sun protection factor (at least SPF 30). Once absorbed, you can apply a thin, even layer of carrot oil over it. Repeat regularly – this promotes a natural, long-lasting tan.
