Fresh and mild fragrance
The refreshing scent of cajeput oil is reminiscent of eucalyptus and citrus scents, but is milder and therefore also suitable for children and particularly sensitive people. The herbaceous, fresh fragrance creates mental clarity, relaxes, alleviates restlessness and nervousness and helps to make the right decisions. Cajeput oil is often added to massage oils for muscle and joint care. Cajeput clears the air and cares for the mucous membranes in the nasopharynx during the cold season.

The essential Cajeput oil is extracted from the leaves of the Cajeput tree using particularly gentle steam distillation. The Cajeput tree is native to Southeast Asia and Australia and can grow to 30 to 40 meters tall. Like eucalyptus and tea tree, it belongs to the myrtle family. The fluffy, white flowers exude a clear scent reminiscent of eucalyptus. The name Cajeput is derived from Kayuputi, which means “white wood” in Indonesia. Cajeput oil is a popular and gentle alternative to eucalyptus, thyme or tea tree oil, especially in the cold season. Thanks to its mild and well-tolerated properties, Cajeput is often used on children and older people. In aromatherapy, Cajeput provides support for complaints in the cold season. A rub with Cajeput oil can have a positive effect on muscles and joints due to the circulation-promoting effect of a massage - an insider tip among athletes.
