Natural Disinfecting Cleaning Spray without Chlorine
Make your own disinfecting cleaning spray with essential oil and cut your stock of chemical stuff! ??
You make disinfection of tables, kitchen tops, toilets and other surfaces as daily housekeeping routine, but need some natural alternatives? With some simple ingredients you can make your own disinfectant spray at home ?
Ingredients (ca 500ml):
✅ Distilled water or boiled water – 1 cup (250ml)
✅ White vinegar or apple vinegar – 1 cup (250ml)
✅ Pure natural essential oils (e.g. from Casida – single or combination – see suggestion below) – 20 drops
✅ Container – spray bottle ca 750ml size
We recommend the following combinations of essential oils (totally 20 drops for a 500ml mixture):
- Tea tree + orange
- Lavander + rosemary
- Peppermint + tea tree (strong!)
- Lemongrass + lavender
1) The spray should be prepared in a well-ventilated room!
2) Rinse spray bottle and nossel with warm water then drain dry
3) Mix vinegar and essential oils in the bottle, then fill up with water
4) Close the cap and shake well
This disinfection spray is for domestic used only and should not be used in public settings with intensive contacts like clinics, shops, schools and elderly home.
